Question 1

Do members need to install anything?

Accepted Answer

No. They scan a QR code, pick a language, and read or listen in their device's browser.

Question 2

Does it understand church and Bible language?

Accepted Answer

Yes — it's tuned for Scripture, prayer, preaching and denominations, recognizes verse references, and lets you add your own glossary and translation notes.

Question 3

What do we need in the building?

Accepted Answer

One internet-connected device with a microphone is enough — a laptop, a tablet, or a handheld device. For the best result, connect directly to your church's sound board and route only the speaker's own microphone channel into it. No headsets or booths either way.

Question 4

Can different people use different languages at once?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Every listener chooses independently from the same live sermon.

Question 5

What's the best audio setup?

Accepted Answer

The cleaner the sound in, the better the translation out. A USB microphone, or feeding your sound board / mixer into your device's mic input, gives the clearest result.

Question 6

What happens during worship music and singing?

Accepted Answer

ConectaStream is built for the spoken Word — preaching, prayer, teaching and announcements. During songs it may caption lyrics loosely or pause.

Question 7

Does it work with our existing sound system?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Feed your mixer or sound board into your device's microphone input and ConectaStream translates whatever comes through.

Question 8

Do you support Spanish for our region?

Accepted Answer

Yes — you can tune Spanish to your congregation's region (Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Dominican, Colombian, Central & South American, and more).

Question 9

Can we put captions on the screens / livestream?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Church and Premium plans include an OBS / ProPresenter caption overlay, plus a clean second-screen view for a TV or projector.

Question 10

Is our audio and data private?

Accepted Answer

Your church's information is never sold. Audio and transcripts are processed securely to run and improve the service.

Question 11

How accurate is it?

Accepted Answer

It's excellent for following along in real time, but it's AI — for anything critical, a person should review. You can also turn on caption moderation, so each translated line goes to your operator to read, edit or approve in the console.

Question 12

What if someone has a very old phone?

Accepted Answer

Very old phones and tablets (around 2015 or earlier) automatically open a simple version that shows the live captions as text to read, in the chosen language — no audio on those devices. It works by itself from the same QR code, with nothing for the operator to do; everyone else still gets the full experience with sound.
